TERMS AND CONDITIONS – STARBUCKS RUNNER SERVICE

1. Nature of Service
Starbucks Runner is a delivery and purchase facilitation service provided by Sapu Superapp.
Sapu is not affiliated, partnered, or associated with Starbucks Malaysia or any of its trademarks.
We act as a runner: we go to Starbucks outlets, purchase the beverage or food items you request, and deliver them to your specified address. We do not offer or sell Starbucks products directly; we only facilitate the purchase and delivery on your behalf.
2. How It Works
You select menu items from the Starbucks menu displayed in the Sapu Superapp (prices shown are estimates based on Starbucks' menu).
You place an order and make payment via Sapu Superapp (cost of items + delivery fee + runner management fee).
Our runner goes to the nearest Starbucks outlet, buys the exact items using their own funds (or Sapu's), and then delivers to you.
You receive a copy of the receipt (photo) from the runner upon delivery.
3. Pricing & Payment
Component Rate
Beverage / Food price Same as Starbucks' in-store price (as shown on the receipt)
Delivery fee RM5 for the first 2km, then RM1 per additional km
Runner Management Fee RM2 per order
Total payment Beverage/food cost + delivery fee + RM2
If Starbucks changes its prices without notice, you agree to pay any difference (Sapu will inform you before purchase).
4. Order Confirmation & Cancellation
Once you confirm your order, our runner will immediately go to the Starbucks outlet to purchase.
Cancellation is not possible after the runner has paid for the items at Starbucks (since drinks/food may already be prepared).
If cancellation happens before payment is made, a cancellation fee of RM3 may apply to cover the runner's time and effort.
5. Delivery & Pickup
Delivery time depends on runner availability, distance, and Starbucks' preparation time.
Our runner will wait for your order at Starbucks.
6. Beverage / Food Quality & Issues
Sapu is not responsible for the quality, taste, temperature, or packaging of the food/beverages provided by Starbucks.
Any complaints about the order (wrong item, missing item, spilled drinks, preparation issues, etc.) must be directed to Starbucks directly. However, we will assist you with the receipt as proof of purchase.
If Starbucks gives the wrong order, Sapu will attempt to return and exchange, but additional delivery fee may apply.
7. Disclaimer of Affiliation
“Sapu is an independent delivery service. We are not employed by, endorsed by, or affiliated with Starbucks Malaysia. The trademarks 'Starbucks', 'Frappuccino', 'Teh Tarik Frappuccino', 'Java Chip', 'Caramel Macchiato', 'Mocha', 'Matcha Latte', and all related names are the property of Starbucks Malaysia. We use them only to identify the products you request. Sapu does not prepare, store, or sell any Starbucks products. We simply purchase and deliver on your behalf.”
8. Limitation of Liability
Sapu's total liability for any claim arising from this service is limited to the total amount you paid for that order.
Sapu is not liable for any indirect damages (e.g., dissatisfaction with taste, missed meetings, delays, etc.).
9. Changes to Terms
Sapu may update these T&C at any time. Continued use of the Starbucks Runner service means you accept the updated terms.
